No. An investigation report is prepared for the owner and the builder to work from. The Building and Plumbing Commission dispute resolution service and VCAT need an expert witness report written to the VCAT practice note. We can upgrade it if it goes that far.
We do not open up finished work, provide engineering certification, take geotechnical samples or carry out the repair. Where an engineer is needed the report says so.
